Try to take a brain break every 25-30 minutes. Brain break activities only take about 1-3 minutes to do. They are refreshing for both students, teachers AND PARENTS.

GLITTER JARS CAN BE FUN!
You can distract a worried mind just watching one swirl. As the glitter slows and settles... so does your mind. You can also use it as a timer. MAKE YOUR OWN GLITTER JAR AT HOME -Using a plastic or glass container with tight lid. -Pour in warm water about halfway at first. -Squeeze in glitter glue (I used a couple of the tubes found in package at Dollar Tree- the more glue... the slower the swirl). -Sprinkle in extra glitter to your liking (I used a couple of the small bags in the package set at Dollar Tree). *If you don't have glitter glue you can also just use glitter -Stir until mixed. -Pour in more water leaving a small gap at top to allow for movement. -Close jar tightly (you may want to glue lid closed). *You can also add food coloring or small items to swirl as well (gem stones, sequins, beads, etc.) CAN'T FIND THE SUPPLIES? JUST WATCH THIS ONE TO THE LEFT! |
